キリナラ ゴルフ コース (9 ホール)

Kirinara Golf Course (9 Holes) Phuket and Koh Samui

This is a parkland course that unfolds in a basin with some elevation difference. It is a 9-hole course, but if you play it twice it becomes a par 72, 6,444 yard course. Water hazards are well made by making good use of the water flowing from the surrounding mountains, and water is involved in 5 of the 9 holes. Palm trees are densely lined on both sides of the holes, the bunkers are well placed, and there is variation on each hole, making it a challenging course considering its length. The greens are fast and roll well. The clubhouse is on high ground, and the view of the course below is wonderful.

Course Introduction

A slightly short long left dogleg. The fairway is divided twice by water, and both the second and third shots are over a pond. The green is elevated and surrounded by ponds. Long hitters can hit it on in two, but it is risky. From the white tee, which is one tee shorter, it is 419 yards, so it is also possible to play it a second time as a challenging par 4. This hole has two greens on the left and right. The main green is the left one we played this time, but the green on the right is a little shorter, elevated, and the green is diagonally long and narrow, and is guarded by a long bunker and pond in front. There is also an option to play the second time on this right green. Both pins are standing, so players can choose which green to play.

The fairway is a little meandering, but it's almost straight and long. The tee shot is over a pond, so the fairway is narrow. The second shot is also narrow, with a hazard on the right side. From the third point, it curves to the left. There are bunkers on the front left and back right of the green, and palm trees on the left side.

A dogleg to the left. The tee shot is tight and guarded by a pond on the left and a palm grove on the right. The second shot is over a pond, and the green is long and strongly elevated with two guard bunkers. The green slopes to the right.

A short downhill shot. The island green is small, so even though the distance is short, it is difficult.

A dogleg to the left. For the tee shot, there is a FW bunker in the left corner. For the second shot, you hit between trees looming from both sides about 50 yards in front of the green. The green is long and narrow, with a bunker in front left. The green slopes to the right.

A tough short shot with a long distance and a strong uphill shot. The green has vertically steep rough in front, and if the ball does not reach the green, it will fall. The long green is guarded by bunkers on the left and right and two deep bunkers in front right. The center of the front part of the green is deeply hollowed out.
